It won ‘Best Documentary’ awards at BAFTA, the British Independent Film Awards, the Evening Standard British Film Awards, the London Critics Circle Film Awards, the Melbourne International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival. Dan Jolin of Empire Magazine in his review said that it was “ambitiously constructed, deeply compelling, thrilling and in no way only for those who like watching cars drive in circles.”
It is, of course, the amazing and moving documentary about the late great Ayrton Senna which was released in 2011 and quietly became a must-watch for petrolheads all over the world.
In conjunction with Odeon Skydome Coventry you have one more chance to watch it in the way it was designed to be; on a cinema wide screen with fantastic surround sound.
On Saturday 31st May 2014 at 9pm (21:00 hours) there will be a single showing of the film. Tickets are available to book now – Standard seats £5.50 or Premier Seats £7.10. To book you need to go to the Odeon Coventry Skydome website then select the ‘Advance Dates’ at the top right and go to ‘Show Only This Film’ immediately below it, select ‘Senna’ and then you can book tickets by clicking on the show time.
Some of the MotoFest team will be there watching it with you as it’s so much better in the cinema than on DVD at home.
