James Noble, our Event Director, is taking part as a speaker at the Professional Motorsport World Expo 2015 which is being held in KoelnMesse, Germany during November.
The subject of his presentation is Urban motorsport – winning a new audience for racing, and James will be outlining to the attendees how an event such as Coventry MotoFest supports existing race circuits by attracting people who have never been to, and may never have considered going to, a live motorsport event.
With the UK Government recently changing the law to allow racing on public roads there has never been a better time for tracks and urban events to work in partnership.
The presentation will include information on how to win an audience, crowd safety, insurance and the challenges of designing and constructing a track within an existing road infrastructure.
It will discuss revenue generation and marketing in a free festival context, and how these events help ensure a healthy future for the industry.
You can find out more about the whole event by clicking here and you’ll find James’ presentation at 13:00 hours on Thursday 12th November as part of the PMW Expo Race circuit owners’ and operators’ workshops.
