Industry Day Details
MotoFest Industry Day takes place at One Friargate, Station Square, Coventry, CV1 2GN.
One Friargate is walking distance from Coventry Rail Station with good bus access and bicycle parking nearby. There is also a large car park at the station you can use if driving.
MotoFest Industry Day consists of several different seminars and sessions; you are welcome to book into as many of these as you would like (booking details below).

Sinfonica Workshop with TfWM

A Horizon Europe project investigating public perception of connected and automated mobility with a focus on vulnerable road users.
This is a stakeholder workshop hosted by Transport for West Midlands for 12 people.
Micromobility with WMG & Coventry City Council
11:00am – 12:00pm
A facilitated panel discussion on micromobility as part of a multi-modal sustainable future. The session will cover micromobility use, infrastructure, and how it can be used positively as a sustainable solution for shorter journeys.
Hosted by Warwick Manufacturing Group, Coventry City Council and MotoFest.

E.ON Roundtable

Developing Coventry as a Future Transport City – a Roundtable discussion hosted by E.ON.
Join E.ON, Coventry City Council’s Strategic Energy Partner, and invited guests for an in-depth discussion around the opportunities and challenges for the city in delivering its ambitions around sustainable transport and positioning Coventry as the future transport city.
The discussion will include speakers from Coventry City Council, Coventry University’s Autonomous Automotive Research division, regional business innovators and the E.ON Next | Veloce racing team.
The panel will consider topics such as the policies needed to drive sustainable change in transport and city planning, the economic and health opportunities involved in moving away from fossil fuels, as well as the need to develop the jobs and skills to make best of the opportunities presented.

Future Transport Demonstrations
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Coventry City Council, Coventry University and Partners will be demonstrating the latest in electric vehicles, drones and sustainable future transport options in the MotoFest Innovation Zone on Greyfriars Green.
The demonstrations are open to the public and are free to attend; no need to book!
Sustainable Fuels with Industry Experts
3:00pm – 4:00pm
The future of transport is more than battery EV. This facilitated discussion with leading experts in hydrogen, sustainable fuels and carbon recovery will look at the wide-ranging alternative options currently being developed.

- Dr Artur J. Majewski – Associate Professor in Hydrogen/Hydrogen-Based Energy Technology
- Dr Kevin Kendall – Hydrogen United. Dr Kendall has studied hydrogen, nanoparticle catalysts and fuel cells since 1986, publishing 6 books and hundreds of papers. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 1993 and started the new hydrogen charity ‘HydrogenUnited.org’ in 2022.

50 Years of Automotive & Transport Design at Coventry University
6:00pm – 8:00pm
2024 sees the 50th anniversary of the renowned Automotive & Transport Design course at Coventry University. Nearly 3000 students have studied on the undergraduate programme at Coventry University since its inception in 1974 and a further 500 have graduated from the MA programme, making it one of the foremost transport courses worldwide. The alumni of this course have produced many of the automotive icons seen in the last half century.
Join Coventry University at the recently opened Delia Derbyshire Art School Building for an evening book launch, and launch of the 50 years of Coventry Automotive & Transport Design exhibition.
