Coventry MotoFest 2015
Visitors to Coventry’s Motofest 2015 will have the chance to refuel on some high grade lubrication after organisers agreed a tie-in with a local microbrewery.
Award-winning Coventry microbrewery Byatts, based in Lythalls Lanes, has agreed to produce a special ale for this year’s event following on from a successful partnership with Motofest last year.
Byatts sponsored the Motofest Live Stage and ran the bar in Millennium Place last time out and will, this year, produce a Motofest Multigrade ale.
Badged as ‘lubrication for petrolheads’, visitors to Motofest (29-31 May) will be able to pitstop and top up fluids at locations around the city.
Byatts will also make the ale available to pubs across the region on the run up to the MotoFest weekend.
Lee Byatt, head brewer and owner of Byatts Brewery, said: “The team at Byatt’s are delighted to be supporting Coventry MotoFest 2015, and are currently hard at work crafting the Motofest Multigrade recipe.
“We look forward to launching it at Motofest 2015.”
James Noble, Festival Director said “Byatts produce exceptionally good beer right here in Coventry and we are really pleased that they have agreed to brew us a special MotoFest ale.
“The Byatts bar was a popular destination for many at last year’s Motofest and I am sure visitors will be welcoming the opportunity to sample some of the new Motofest Multigrade ale this time round.”
