MOTOFEST AND THE ENVIRONMENT
MotoFest is a motoring festival for everyone, from classic car lovers and modern
modified enthusiasts to motorsport fans and the motorcycle mad. But we are working hard to ensure MotoFest is also for the environment.
MotoFest is about automotive culture, past, present and future. We are looking to the future with new technologies and innovations to help us protect the planet, whilst also investing in ways to ensure our motoring passions from the past and present are sustainable.
Our exciting new partnership with local company, Tree-V, will allow us to do this
across the Motofest action. Tree-V are official sustainability partners of the
Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs and specialists in tackling automotive
emissions. We’ll be working with them to ensure that all of the emissions generated
by our live action, from runs on the track to the travel of our concourse competitors,
is balanced out by the planting of beautiful new woodland here in the UK. They’ll also be providing the opportunity for our trade and club stands to carbon balance their emissions, utilising UK woodland and protecting overseas forestry.
The green thinking doesn’t stop there, we’re also conscious of the carbon footprint
beyond Motofest – namely how all of our lovely attendees get to us. With that in
mind, Tree-V will also be helping individual display vehicles and attendees carbon
capture their trip into Coventry.
