MotoFest is an event to be enjoyed as a family. All of our live and static displays are child-safe. (We would recommend you bring ear defenders if the little ones have sensitive ears!) But we also have a range of free activities specially chosen to engage and entertain our younger visitors.
CycleFest at MotoFest
For the first time, CycleFest will be happening during MotoFest weekend. During the day, enjoy a cycling expo with bike riding and smoothie making. As the light fades, bring the family along for a free bicycle ride on the traffic free Ring Road.
E.ON Drive are hosting a drawing competition on their stand with the winner’s design being wrapped onto one of their local vans. Head to their stand on Greyfriars Green to pick up a competition sheet
Keep the kids entertained at MotoFest by visiting the fairground located in the heart of MotoFest on Warwick Road by the Wave
Heritage Open Days
MotoFest 2022 is taking place during Heritage Open Days meaning there is even more to do in Coventry. From free entry into Coventry Transport Museum to visiting the Riley Archive
Get the kids creative minds going with face painting on Greyfriars Green.
Parks and play areas
There are several parks and play areas across the city where you can rest and the kids can play! Why not check out the newest play area by Methodist Central Hall in the heart of MotoFest? Or Naul’s Mill Underpark (which has a climbing wall) or Coventry University’s Starley Gardens?
West Midlands Fire Service
The West Midlands Fire Service will be joining across the weekend with live car cutting demonstrations and VR experiences. Head to their stand on Greyfriars Green
Visit the New Coventry Cathedral along with the Cathedral Ruins during the time at MotoFest. These iconic buildings have historic significance and will be a highlight to your trip to Coventry.
As part of Heritage Open Days, you can even climb the Cathedral Tower.
Coventry Canal Basin
Situated in the heart of the city, the Coventry Canal Basin has plenty to offer families and couples from waterside wildlife to relaxing walks and historic canal architecture.
Weaver’s House Open Day
The Weaver’s House is a special place to visit in Spon End, Coventry. It is a medieval house that has been restored to show life in 1540 and is open over MotoFest
