
FAMILY FUN
MotoFest is an event to be enjoyed as a family. All of our live and static displays are child-safe. (We would recommend you bring ear defenders if the little ones have sensitive ears!) But we also have a range of free activities specially chosen to engage and entertain our younger visitors.
CycleFest at MotoFest
For the first time, CycleFest will be happening during MotoFest weekend. During the day, enjoy a cycling expo with bike riding and smoothie making. As the light fades, bring the family along for a free bicycle ride on the traffic free Ring Road.
Van Wrap Competition
The winner of E.ON Drive’s van wrap competition will be unveiled at MotoFest 2023. Head over to their stand to see the winning entry on display.
Coventry Transport Museum
Coventry Transport Museum are offering free entry for the MotoFest weekend as well as running family friendly activities on Millennium Place. Keep an eye out for their original Barbie car complete with special passengers on the Sprint Circuit!
Fairground Rides
Keep the kids entertained at MotoFest by visiting the fairground located in the heart of MotoFest on Warwick Road by the Wave
Parks and play areas
There are several parks and play areas across the city where you can rest and the kids can play! Why not check out the newest play area by Methodist Central Hall in the heart of MotoFest? Or Naul’s Mill Underpark (which has a climbing wall) or Coventry University’s Starley Gardens?
Face painting
Get the kids creative minds going with face painting on Greyfriars Green.
West Midlands Fire Service
The West Midlands Fire Service will be joining across the weekend with live car cutting demonstrations and VR experiences. Head to their stand on Greyfriars Green
Coventry Cathedral
Visit the New Coventry Cathedral along with the Cathedral Ruins during your time at MotoFest. These iconic buildings have historic significance and will be a highlight to your trip to Coventry.
Dippy in Coventry
Located in the Herbert Art Gallery, Dippy, the life-size, plaster-of-paris replica of a Diplodocus carnegii skeleton is free to visit. While you’re there, there are plenty of other exhibitions to enjoy too.
Coventry Canal Basin
Situated in the heart of the city, the Coventry Canal Basin has plenty to offer families and couples from waterside wildlife to relaxing walks and historic canal architecture.

Step out the city centre to visit the Coventry Music Museum and dive into the history of Coventry’s musical past and future!
