ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures on MotoFest weekend will be as follows:
Ring Road clockwise J4-8 (main carriageway: London Road to Holyhead Road);
Ring Road anticlockwise J8-4 (main carriageway: London Road to Holyhead Road);
All entry / exit slip roads, Ring Road J5 (Mile Lane / Little Park Street);
All entry / exit slip roads, Ring Road J6 (Friargate / Warwick Road);
Clockwise exit slip road and anticlockwise entry slip road, Ring Road J7 (SkyDome);
Warwick Road, both directions from Eaton Road junction to junction with Greyfriars Road;
Short Street, in its entirety;
Manor House Drive city centre side, at Ring Road on-slip (disused);
Manor House Drive station side to rear of Friargate;
Half of roundabout at Ring Road J4/London Road;
Contra-flow for traffic heading inbound on London Road, which will be unable to join Ring Road clockwise at J4; Instead it will be fed via the contra-flow onto the anticlockwise carriageway.
Use of a one-way system on Park Road, and ALL traffic will be able to use to bus gate onto Quinton Road.
Slip roads linking J7/The Butts and J8/Holyhead Road will remain open;
Access to / from train station from Warwick Road (Central Six side) will be maintained but altered.
**NEW ROAD CLOSURE FOR 2019**
Please be aware that, for the safety of participants and attendees, Warwick Road will be closed, along with Greyfriars Road and New Union Street to ALL TRAFFIC.
There will be no vehicular access on New Union Street beyond its junction with Greyfriars Lane (The Wave / The Squirrel pub).
Access to Barracks Car Park will be maintained.
This road closure will extend to the junction with Warwick Road (outside the Litten Tree pub), and around to the junction of Greyfriars Road and Croft Road (IKEA).
All public transport serving New Union St, Greyfriars Road and Warwick Road will be diverted.
