The MotoFest Coventry Team have been working incredibly hard throughout the pandemic to plan and deliver Covid secure events and protect the health and wellbeing of both our amazing MotoFest fans, attendees and the MotoFest Team.
MotoFest Month 2021
The team worked astonishingly hard to deliver our summer of Covid secure events in MotoFest Month 2021. This was a new format for MotoFest in 2021 and gave us three weekends of fun and activity instead of the usual two-day festival held in early June.
With ever changing restrictions, this new format enabled the team to deliver a series of events for motorcycle, classic car and modern modified fans, and all those in between. We even saw two brand new elements introduced this year – Coventry Concours and our Modern Modified Individual Displays.

Club MotoFest Covid Secure Events
During 2020, we were busy delivering our new Club MotoFest programme and a series of smaller events.
In June we hosted our first ever virtual Concours (Coventry Concours) in partnership with the Associations of Heritage Engineers. Which was a huge hit with MotoFest fans and we saw many applications flying in!
By September, we hosted our first Shakespeare Run – Revival for 66 magnificent classic vehicles and motorcycles through Coventry and the South Warwickshire countryside. We ensured the safety of all participants and the team by having a mobile start and finish on the Coventry Ring Road.
Towards the end of 2020, the team in partnership with Rob Halligan and Jubilee Church Coventry, organised two evenings of Drive In Christmas Carols which was enjoyed by over a hundred vehicles in Millennium Place. Keeping participants within their vehicles, meant the team could still deliver a successful event within the tougher tier 3 restrictions at the time.
Looking back at how incredibly hard our team have worked and how creatively they have planned and delivered events, despite the restrictions. We are excited to plan a Covid secure event, for as many as we can in June this year.
